Usually ,we hestitate to provide the credit/debit card details on any site.Same implies while signing up for AWS Services. AWS provides 12 months free tier account to explore the platform and students often build their project using cloud services.
Is there any way you can signup to AWS console without credit/debit cards ? Answer is No, You need valid Credit or Debit card.
Let's see then how we can create :
To get virtual card :
Step 1 : Install “Pockets by ICICI Bank” which is available on the Play Store. You can download it from here. Pockets- Bill Payment, Recharge, UPI on the wallet – Apps on Google Play
Step 2: You need to create account providing details such as First Name, Last Name, Aadhar card details, Birth Date. Make sure you enter your First name and Last Name as per your identity card ( Aadhar card).
After that,the below screen will appear.
At the topmost section , you can notice Pockets Wallet.If you tap on it , it consists of Account Number and CVV . Bravo! You are one step near to create AWS Account.

Step 1: Download Airtel Payments Bank App . Login providing your active mobile number.
Step 2: Apply for account opening via Airtel Thanks App. Click on 'Video KYC' icon or banner available in the App.Add your details(You will require Aadhar and Pan Card). After that you will go through Video Verification (Keep PAN card with you) Your account is ready!
Step 3: Let's signup to AWS
Go to this url : AWS SignUp page
Put the details such as Email Address and User-Name , click on verify my email address.
After you click verify my email address, AWS will drop verification code in your mail.
Setup your root password and confirm.
Now fill up the details asked ...
Now you will need to add your virtual card :
For verification purpose it will deduct 2 INR and be refunded after 2-3 days from transaction.
Your account will be activated in same day or two.
Now you can explore the huge domain of services......
